Ferric Chloride: 40% (42-45 Baume) saturated Solution. A corrosive salt for etching. Now recognised as the safest and best performing etchant for copper and zinc plates. Can be used in vertical etching tanks or face down in flat trays. See online for additional notes. Caution must be taken when using this solution. Avoid contact with skin and wear protect goggles.
