Akua Intaglio Washable Soya-Based Inks. Carbon Black.
Don't let the name of this ink fool you into thinking that it's only suitable for intaglio printing. This quality soya-based printers' ink is strongly pigmented with great tack which makes it superb for intaglio and relief printmaking, montotypes and collagraphs. They allow students the chance to work with oil-based inks without the need for hazardous solvents.
Tools can be cleaned by wiping with a dry rag then washing in washing up liquid.
Speedball Akua inks contain no driers which means they offer longer working times for monotype and resist skinning-over in the jar or on the slab, so no ink is wasted.
They dry through absorption so print onto uncoated paper and porous surfaces.
