Dipping Stoneware Powder Glaze - Clear.
In a busy ceramics department it's more economical to have a selection of dipping glazes available.
These stoneware glazes come in a powdered form and can either be mixed with water as an entire batch or in smaller quantities. Ideally, store all mixed glazes in lidded containers and mix thoroughly prior to every use.
Generally, dipping glazes are thinner than brush on glazes. Dip work once or twice for a quality glazed finish. Lead-free and non-toxic.
Fires to a gloss finish.
Firing range 1180°C-1200°C.
Each 3.4kg tub of powdered glaze makes 4.5 litres of dipping glaze.
