Encaustic Art Hotplate.
A large hotplate with a toughened glass surface working area measuring 405 x 604mm (A2). High quality thermostatic control with on/off switch. Preheating time at least five minutes. Detachable cable with 13A plug. 220-240V.
Temperature dial display 1-12. Raising the temperature in increments of approximately 7°C until reaching 87°C at the highest setting.
Useful when etching for heating zinc plates before covering with hard or soft ground. Can also be used for encaustic art or other arts and crafts that require a heating plate.
