An armature is a great help when modelling. This head and bust armature is not intended to remain inside the modelling piece when kiln fired so slice work vertically down the sides and remove from the armature and re-join the clay piece.
Alternatively, a mould can be made of the model for casting or press mould purposes.
A sturdy, upright, detachable rod extending to a spherical wire shaped head. Acts as a support tool for anyone modelling busts prior to taking a cast.
Sturdy construction with a spherical diameter of approximately 90mm. Height is approximately 380mm. Supplied with base.
