This is a wood-based marionette project suitable for the younger technologist, as many of the parts are nearly complete but require several different wood-working techniques. By painting and varnishing the finished puppet it can look very individual.

Age: 8+. Making time: 2-3 hours. Length: approx. 250mm.

Tools needed: file, sandpaper, wood glue, hammer, saw, pliers, paint etc to decorate.

Skills required: marking, sawing, filing, sanding and glueing.
