A glorious linseed oil-based etching inks with a buttery texture which clean up really easily with just liquid hand soap and water. These inks by Caligo are called Safe Wash Etching Inks because of their user-friendly properties; they give professional results but are easy to clean up.
The oil is derived from flax seeds; a renewable vegetable crop. They are suitable for all types of intaglio printing including, etching, aquatint, line engraving etc. As with all oil-based inks, drying times can be improved by working in a warm room with good air flow. Made in Britain.
