This ensures that the kiln is isolated and therefore no one can get close and risk contact with hot surfaces and only authorised staff can have access to the kiln controller.
It also offers peace of mind that the kiln can cool fully before being opened, therefore eliminating the risk of damage to fired ware or the kiln itself.
