Batt Wash - 1kg Tub.
Used to coat kiln shelves or plaster moulds to prevent clay or glaze from sticking or to coat slumping or fusing moulds to prevent glass from sticking.
Just add water to this dry powder to form a thin cream. Dampen surface first with a sponge then brush on three coats of batt wash, letting each coat dry before brushing on the next.
Lives of kiln shelves are prolonged and glaze drippings are easy to remove.
