Kiln Blanket - 300 x 300 x 8mm thick.
This blanket is great for supporting dimensional work when firing and for keeping glass from fusing to the bottom of the microkiln. The blanket can withstand temperatures up to 1260°C. If your glass piece features a hole, e.g. for hanging a pendant, stuff it with the blanket to prevent it from fusing over.
Kiln venting is necessary when using both products and we recommend using a respiratory mask and gloves when cleaning up loose fibres which can be harmful if inhaled and may irritate the skin.
Does not contain asbestos.
